Shine Tom Chacko Accident: What Caused The Tragic Incident That Killed Malayalam Actor’s Father

Shine Tom Chacko's father passed away in an accident that took place in Salem. The actor is currently hospitalised.

Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko and his family met with an accident in Salem on Friday. The actor is currently hospitalised but his father, CP Chacko, passed away. According to postmortem, his father died due to a fatal head injury in the impact of the collision. The family will return to Thrissur for the funeral. Shine’s driver, while speaking to Manorama News, revealed what caused this tragic incident.

Shine’s driver Aneesh revealed that the actor’s father was behind the driver’s seat without a seatbelt on and passed away before they could take him to the hospital. He said, “He left us before we could take him to the hospital. He was behind the driver’s seat without a seatbelt on, and Shine chettan (elder brother) was sitting in the back. He wasn’t responding when we were taking him to the hospital. But when he became silent on the way, we knew he had died. It crushed our hopes.”

He revealed that they left from Ernakulam to Bengaluru around 10 PM and were at Salem by 6 AM. He further revealed that there was a lorry ahead of them and it suddenly switched lanes. The accident was caused when the car suddenly rammed into it.

Shine’s mother and brother suffered minor injuries. Meanwhile, his right hand has been injured in the accident.
