Reality shows queen Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra are once again trying their luck in movies with UT69. During the trailer launch, Raj revealed some secrets about the making of this movie after returning from jail over allegations of producing and distributing porn films.

Shilpa’s first reaction to UT69 script

Narrating the story, he said, “When I decided to tell her that I’m planning to make a film, she was sitting at a distance. I didn’t want to be close to her while telling. I told her I had a script and waited for her reply. When I turned towards her, a flying chappal tapped my face. She thought this idea was risky and this film wouldn’t happen.”

Shilpa had doubts

Shilpa was doubtful about the movie’s subject and of course, Raj Kundra’s acting skills. It was director Shahnawaz Ali who narrated the script to her and then she realized it was not against the system but a tale of a man. She asked him if he would be able to pull it off (Tu kar lega?) to which he responded by assuring her (Mai kar loonga kyonki Maine jail jakar method acting toh kar hi li hai)

Wife is proud of the work

Raj mentioned that wife Shilpa Shetty felt proud of him after watching the trailer. The power-packed trailer shows Kundra going to jail where he is asked to take off all the clothes and have a poor meal.
