Dipika Kakkar has been diagnosed with stage two liver cancer and fans are worried about her well-being, her husband Shoaib has been keeping their fans updated about Dipika’s health.
Recently, Shoaib took to Instagram to share a heartfelt update about his wife, Dipika Kakar, who recently underwent a 14-hour-long surgery for stage 2 liver cancer. The surgery took place on Tuesday at a Mumbai hospital, and Dipika is currently recovering in the ICU.
Shoaib expressed gratitude to fans while asking for continued prayers, “Hi everyone, Sorry I couldn’t update you last night, it was a long surgery. She was in OT for 14 hrs. But Alhamdulillah, everything went well. Dipi is currently in the ICU.”
He added, “She’s in some pain, but she’s stable and doing okay. Thank you all dil se (from my heart) for your love, prayers, and support, it truly means a lot. I will update you all once she’s out of the ICU. Thank you once again. Keep praying for her.”
On Tuesday, Shoaib wrote in his Instagram story, “Dippi’s surgery is scheduled to happen tomorrow morning. It’s going to be a long surgery… she needs all your prayers & strength the most … please keep her in your prayers.”
In their earlier vlog, Shoaib shared, “Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, the scan report came out clear. The virus or its cells have not spread anywhere else in the body. Whatever is there is confined to the tumour, and once the tumour is surgically removed, Inshallah, things will get better. As of now, the doctors are saying everything looks under control, though ultimately, Allah knows best what the future holds.”
Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim got married in 2018 after dating for a few years. They also have a son named Ruhaan.
