Veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha tripped in his dining room, injuring his ribs, and has been hospitalized at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Ambani Hospital for a routine check-up. Specific details about his condition have not been disclosed.
The incident reportedly took place on Monday, June 25, in his favorite relaxation spot at home. Sonakshi, who recently received acclaim for her role in Heeramandi and has recently married, was nearby and swiftly assisted to prevent a potentially serious fall. According to a source quoted in the publication, ‘Shatru is often found sitting on the same sofa in the same spot. He enjoys watching news on TV from there, and many of his interviews are conducted there as well.’ Sonakshi’s uncle, Pahlaj Nihalani, also confirmed the veteran actor’s hospitalization, stating, ‘Yes, Shatruji is in the hospital. However, he is perfectly fine now and is expected to return home by tomorrow evening.’

Meanwhile, actor Shatrughan Sinha’s son, Luv Sinha, informed ‘My father had viral fever and weakness over the past few days, prompting us to admit him to the hospital.’
