Shark Tank India Season 4 is in full swing, with new entrepreneurs presenting their businesses to secure investments from the sharks Peeyush Bansal (Lenskart) Anupam Mittal (People Group) Vineeta Singh (Sugar Cosmetics), Kunal Bahl (Acevector) Viraj Bahl (Veeba Consumer Products) Namita Thapar (Emcure Pharmaceuticals) Aman Gupta (Boat).
Each episode brings with it some new discussions, which aren’t just arguments, but also fun banters between the sharks and interesting conversations between the sharks and entrepreneurs. These engaging discussions are keeping the audience hooked to the show once again. A promo of the upcoming episode gives a peek into one such interesting pitch.
The promo features Namita Thapar exclaiming in surprise. “Bas yahi dekhna baaki tha,” she said. But what led to her reaction is even more interesting. An entrepreneur Swati Singh presented her collection and business – Aseem by Aseem Shakti, showcasing sarees that are ready-to-wear.
Swati claimed that it takes only 15 seconds to wrap a saree, a task that is otherwise tedious. To prove it, she asked Anupam Mittal to give it a try. As Anupam wrapped a saree around him within seconds, Namita was left surprised and couldn’t hold back from saying, “Bas yahi dekhna reh gaya tha.”
The brand claimed that it’s the first one to make pockets in the saree, which adds to the comfort. Women can now carry necessary items with them, without the hassle of having handbags – very much like one would feel wearing a trouser or a jeans with pockets.

The entrepreneur presented her brand, stating that she wants to take her business to every household. However, the discussion took a sour turn when Anupam inquired about the total sales, and the entrepreneur got confused while sharing the exact numbers. This led the judges to ask if she was aware of the stats and finances of her business.
Her reply, stating that she has learned everything on her own so far and will learn the finances as well, led to Namita appreciating her confidence and hard work.
The brand was launched in 2018 and has so far sold more than 10l sarees.
