The latest episode of Shark Tank India Season 4 showcased intense negotiations and innovative pitches, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats. Two startups—one in smart wearables and another in sustainable beverages—stole the spotlight, sparking a fierce battle among the Sharks.

Smart Wearables Ignite Shark Frenzy

Entrepreneurs Sreekanth Kommula, Anand Kumar, and Kausthub Kaundinya brought their cutting-edge smart wearables to the tank, seeking Rs. 50 lakh for 1% equity. The startup’s revolutionary products, catering to diverse industries, quickly caught the Sharks’ attention.

Namita Thapar initiated the bidding war with an offer of Rs. 50 lakh for 2% equity and a 1% royalty until the investment was recouped. Ritesh Agarwal raised the stakes with Rs. 1 crore for 3% equity, prompting Namita to revise her offer to 1.5% equity. Aman Gupta also adjusted his deal, offering ₹50 lakh for 1.5% equity.

Eventually, Namita teamed up with Peyush Bansal, proposing Rs. 1 crore for 3% equity. However, Aman’s strategic move to match their equity percentage while keeping the valuation lower won the day. The founders accepted Aman Gupta’s offer, marking one of the season’s most dramatic pitches.

Aquapeya Brings Sustainability To The Table

Another memorable pitch came from Aquapeya, a Sangli-based beverage company founded by Tushar and Ravi Mundada in 2018. The startup showcased a line of eco-friendly beverages, including mineral water, fruit juices, and energy drinks, all designed with locally tailored flavors and colors.

Seeking Rs. 70 lakh for 2% equity, Aquapeya impressed the Sharks with its sustainable practices and growth potential. Although specific deals weren’t finalized on air, the brand made a strong case for eco-conscious business strategies in India’s competitive beverage market.
