Tensions between India and Pakistan have intensified following unprovoked firing by Pakistan and attacks on Indian military installations. On Thursday, military stations in Jammu, Pathankot, and Udhampur were targeted by Pakistani drones and missiles along the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir. All these threats were swiftly neutralised using kinetic and non-kinetic capabilities in line with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The Ministry of Defence mentioned no casualties and material losses and reiterated that India remains fully prepared to defend its sovereignty and ensure the safety of its people.
In between this, there are reports of Bollywood in a race to register the title ‘Operation Sindoor’. Shiv Sena UBT Leader Priyanka Chaturvedi slammed this move by Bollywood. She called them ‘Shameless vultures’.
