Jio Studios: On April 12, Jio Studios held a grand event to celebrate its anniversary in Mumbai. In this special event, the production house has revealed its upcoming slate in India which includes over 100 movies and web series. Out of these, some titles include Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Dunki, Amitabh Bachchan’s Section 84 and sequels to Bhediya and Stree, among others.
Jio Studios also announced that it has been working with some of the finest film-makers, Rajkumar Hirani, Sooraj Barjatya, Dinesh Vijan, Ali Abbas Zafar, Aditya Dhar, Prakash Jha, Amar Kaushik, and Laxman Utekar on their forthcoming films. The Jio Studios event was graced with the presence of a variety of celebrities including Shahid Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor, Randeep Hooda, Aamir Khan, Bhumi Pednekar, Shraddha Kapoor and Kriti Sanon.

In a wide variety of languages including Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, south and Bhojpuri, Jio Studios has earmarked more than 100 stories to be released in the genres of movies and original web series.

Jyoti Deshpande’s Statement

Jio Studios is also promoting its web series, which includes Laal Batti directed by Prakash Jha. It’s a Digital debut for Nana Patekar, and Sanjay Kapoor will also be in the show.
