Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic Mumbai bungalow, Mannat, has long been a tourist attraction, drawing hundreds of fans daily. However, after over 25 years, the Bollywood superstar and his family are set to move out temporarily. The reason? A major renovation project that will transform the palatial home.
According to sources, the renovation will begin in May and includes a long-planned extension of the bungalow. Since Mannat is a Grade III heritage structure, any modification required legal approval, which has now been secured. With construction set to start in a few months, Shah Rukh and his family will shift to a new residence for the time being.

Shah Rukh Khan’s New Address
The Khan family- Shah Rukh, Gauri, and their children Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam- will relocate to a luxury apartment in Bandra’s Pali Hill area. They have leased four floors in Puja Casa, a high-end residential building owned by producer Vashu Bhagnani’s family. The rental agreement was signed between Shah Rukh’s Red Chillies Entertainment and Bhagnani’s children, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshika Deshmukh.

The new residence will accommodate not just the Khan family but also their security personnel and staff, along with some office space. Although not as spacious as Mannat, the apartment provides adequate privacy and comfort. Reports suggest Shah Rukh will be paying a monthly rent of Rs. 24 lakh for the four floors.

How Long Will They Stay?
Shah Rukh has leased duplex apartments across the first, second, seventh, and eighth floors of the building for three years. However, sources say that while the agreement is long-term, the Khan family may only stay until the Mannat renovation is completed- potentially up to two years.
Security measures are being put in place at the new location to ensure privacy for the superstar and his family. As the work on Mannat begins, fans can expect the actor to return to his iconic home once the transformation is complete.
