Shah Rukh Khan is getting ready to move to a new place soon. He has lived in his big Bandra bungalow, Mannat, for over 20 years. But in May, renovation work will start at Mannat, and SRK and his family will temporarily move to two nearby apartments. This will be the first time since the late 90s that Shah Rukh will live close to other people, meaning he will have ‘next-door neighbors’ for the first time in more than 20 years.
Shah Rukh Khan and Family Moving to Luxury Apartment in Bandra
Shah Rukh Khan, along with his wife Gauri and children—Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam—are moving to four floors in a luxury apartment building in the Pali Hill area of Bandra. The building, called Puja Casa, is co-owned by filmmaker Vashu Bhagnani, his son Jackky Bhagnani, and his daughter Deepshikha Deshmukh. The name “Puja Casa” comes from Vashu’s wife, Pooja Bhagnani, just like his film production company, Pooja Entertainment.
Shah Rukh Khan to Stay in Puja Casa for Two Years During Mannat Renovation
Shah Rukh Khan has rented two duplex apartments on the first, second, seventh, and eighth floors of the building. The other floors are occupied by other residents. Sources told HT that renovation work at Mannat will start in May. This will include an extension of the bungalow, which Shah Rukh needed court approval for. Mannat is a Grade III heritage building, so any changes can only be made after getting proper permissions. This means the Khan family will stay at Puja Casa for at least two years.
Shah Rukh Khan’s New Neighbors
Puja Casa has been home to the Bhagnani family for many years. Vashu Bhagnani and his wife live in the building with their children. Jackky Bhagnani and his wife, actress Rakul Preet Singh, also live there. Their Instagram photos and stories often show the building’s location. For the next 2-3 years, the Bhagnanis will be Shah Rukh Khan and his family’s neighbors until they return to a renovated Mannat.
Sources say that Shah Rukh and his team are making sure that he and his family have proper safety and privacy at the apartment complex. The apartments have been leased for three years.
