Shah Rukh Khan And Diljit Dosanjh Snubbed At Met Gala 2025? Vogue Spokesperson Responds: ‘Was Certainly…’

Shah Rukh Khan and Diljit Dosanjh's historic 2025 Met Gala debut sparked controversy when fans criticized Vogue's livestream for providing limited coverage of the Bollywood stars.

The 2025 Met Gala marked a significant milestone for Indian artists as Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and global music sensation Diljit Dosanjh made their first appearances on the fashion’s most prestigious red carpet. However, netizens pointed out that both stars were given limited screen time during Vogue’s red carpet livestream. Fans alleged that the coverage downplayed their presence and underrepresentation.

Pinkvilla stated, a Vogue spokesperson told The New York Times that the snub “was certainly not intentional,” addressing the moment when the livestream abruptly cut away from Diljit. The spokesperson also clarified that host Ego Nwodim had acknowledged Shah Rukh Khan as the first male Bollywood actor to walk the Met Gala red carpet, denying social media claims that his appearance went unrecognized.
