Shaan Releases FIRST Statement After Fire Breaks Out At His Building: ‘Waiting To Go Back Home..’

Shaan has assured fans of his safety after the video of a fire break out at his building surfaced online.

A fire broke out on the 7th floor of singer Shaan’s building on Tuesday morning and the incident left his fans worried. According to reports, an 80-year-old woman was also found unconscious on the building’s eighth floor. Shaan has issued the first statement after the incident and assured fans of his safety.

Shaan shared that the fire broke out on the 7th floor and he and his family managed to escape from the 15th floor. He further thanked the fire department and Mumbai police for their quick action to control the situation. The singer further ensured his fans that he and his family are fine and are waiting to go back to their home.

He wrote on Instagram, “Dear all, as the news spreads about the fire in our building… just to let you all know that we are safe. Fire was on the 7th floor, we live on higher floors. We managed to escape to the 15th floor and waited to be rescued. To cut a long horrible story short… we are absolutely fine…waiting to go back home once there is a clearer picture from the fire department. A big thank you to the fire department, the Mumbai police and @advocateashishshelar for their quick and timely action.”

The authorites are still investigating the cause of the fire. According to PTI, the incident took place at 1 am on Tuesday. An 80-year-old woman was rushed to the nearby Bhabha Hospital for treatment and no casulalities have been reported.
