Kalidasa’s Sanskrit play Abhijnanashakuntalam inspired Shaankalamis. It’s a story about the legendary romance between Shakuntala and King Dushyant of Mahabharata. On April 14th the film made its theatrical debut and was met with mixed reactions from audiences and critics.
Shaakuntalam’s Box Office Collection
