Shaakuntalam box office collection Day 4: In 2023, Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Shaakuntalam is one of the highest anticipated films. The film, however, hasn’t been able to make a fortune at the box office since its release on 14 April.
The film failed to reach 10 crores at the domestic box office by the end of four days. As the film was budgeted close to Rs 65 crore, that is a disturbing trend. At this rate, the film may be on the verge of disaster.

Samantha’s Shaakuntalam, directed by Gunasekhar, is a legend. The film has been released in several Indian languages. Nevertheless, the fans did not give it a warm reception. The film experienced a big decline in receipts from Monday, April 17th.
The film is estimated to have earned a sum of around 60 lahks, based on reports. It’s staggeringly low and the movie may suffer a loss. The average net collection in India has grown to Rs 6.25 crore over the last four days.

About the Film
The mythical play Shaakuntalam was written and directed by Gunasekhar. Shakuntala, a play by Kalidasa, is the source for the movie. Dev Mohan will play King Dushyanta, and Samantha will play Shakuntala.
Supporting actors include Mohan Babu, Gautami, Aditi Balan, and Ananya Nagalla. On February 17, The film will debut in theatres worldwide in a variety of languages.
