New Delhi: An AI-generated image of Selena Gomez at the 2023 Met Gala has gone viral on the internet. Selena Gomez looked stunning on the Met Gala 2023 red carpet, but the singer had never attended the event.
Selena Gomez, 30, may be seen in an image from the Met Gala red carpet from 2023 wearing a sheer one-shoulder dress and blue pearls. The only catch is that Gomez was noticeably missing from the event this year.

There were other obvious anomalies in the picture, including the red carpet where she is posing, aside from the fact that the singer had not attended the event this year. Despite what the image suggests, the Met Gala’s red carpet for 2023 was designed by Kerala-based high-end luxury brand Neytt by Extraweave and was not at all red in colour.
Interestingly, it is a doctored photograph featuring Gomez’s face placed on Lily James’ Versace costume from the 2022 Met Gala, which has been modified to a different shade of blue.
Since 2018, Selena has not attended any Met Gala activities. She referred to her tan as one of her most infamous beauty mishaps ever after it went viral at the time.
