Lawyers for music industry mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs have officially asked for a two-month postponement of his upcoming federal sex-trafficking trial. In a letter filed with U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian on Wednesday, Combs’ lawyers contended that the previously scheduled May 5 timeline does not provide adequate time to mount an adequate defense due to delayed evidence disclosures from prosecutors. Combs has denied all the charges against him, insisting that the allegations are part of a larger effort to discredit him and tarnish his legacy.

According to the prosecutors, the new allegations basically details how combs and his associates allegedly lured women into exploitative situations under the situations.
