New Delhi: This year, Karthi has been a box office hit three times. Sardar, his most recent film after Viruman and Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1, is doing well at the box office. Today (October 25) or tomorrow (October 26), the movie is probably going to gross over Rs 50 crore. The PS Mithran-directed movie is now having the biggest box office success of all the Diwali movies in Tamil Nadu.

At the box office, Sivakarthikeyan’s Prince and Mohanlal’s Monster competed with Karthi’s Sardar. The movie has been performing admirably at the box office.

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala also tweeted, “#Sardar has seen an excellent growth in theatres with day 3 collections getting more than day 1, @Karthi_Offl has landed another hit and the film is sure to go big until next week! (sic).”

About Sardar
PS Mithran’s spy thriller Sardar is a thriller. Vishal, who he directed in the well-liked Irumbu Thirai, is the director’s best-known film credit (2018) Raashii Khanna plays the main female lead in Sardar.
Chunky Pandey, Laila, and Rajisha Vijayan are among the cast members. The cameraman and editor are, respectively, Ruben and George C Williams. S Lakshman Kumar is the producer of Sardar. On October 21, it debuted in theatres.
