Later, Sarath Babu’s sister dispelled death rumours and stated that he is alive and well. Among the famous people who fell for the scam was Kamal Haasan. Later, he removed his tweet.
Sarath Babu is recovering, says family
The actor was taken to a private hospital in Hyderabad last week. It was stated that his condition was critical.
On May 3, a number of media websites reported Sarath Babu’s death. However, a statement from his family members debunked the rumour.
The statement read, “All the news about Sarath Babu on social media are coming wrong. Sarath Babu has recovered a bit and the room has been shifted. I hope that he will recover completely soon and talks to the media. My request is don’t believe any news on social media.”

Satyam Babu Dixithulu, also known as Sarath Babu, launched his acting career in a Telugu movie in 1973. He is primarily recognised for his roles in Tamil and Telugu motion pictures. Additionally, he appeared in a few Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada films. He has received nine Nandi Awards for best supporting actor.
He an Andhra Pradesh native, aspired to work as a police officer but was unable to because of an eye condition. His mother helped him enter the film industry and make a name for himself as an actor despite the fact that his father wanted him to join his business.
