Sanya will star in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari with Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Manish Paul and Rohit Saraf. The movie will release on April 18, 2025. The movie is produced by Dharma Productions.
Toaster
Sanya will star opposite Rajkummar Rao in the Netflix film ‘Toaster’. The movie revolves around a man, who is a miser and gifts a toaster to a newly wedded couple. When he finds out that the couple is getting divorced, he wants to get it back. The official release date of Toaster has not been announced yet.
Untitled Project With Anurag Kashyap
She will reportedly team up director Anurag Kashyap for a project along with Bobby Deol.

Thug Life
Sanya Malhotra will reportedly appear in the Tamil movie ‘Thug Life’ as well. Directed by Mani Ratnam, the movie will also star Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan, Trisha Krishnan, Ashok Selvan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Joju George, Abhirami, Nassar, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Rohit Saraf and Vaiyapuri.

Sanya played the role of a newly wed bride Richa in Mrs, who faces difficulty in her life after marriage. While speaking to News24, director Aarti Yadav talked about how the movie impacted Sanya. She said, “Sanya plays a character with a lot of empathy. By the end, I could see that she was feeling very sad. She had to remind herself that this was just a role and not her real story.”
The movie also stars Nishant Dahiya, Kanwaljit Singh, Aparna Ghoshal, Nitya Moyal in the pivotal roles.
