Sankranthiki Vasthunam OTT Update: Venkatesh Daggubati is finally back on the big screens with his latest film ‘Sankranthiki Vasthunam’, which has surpassed all the big releases of Pongal 2025. The movie revolves around Raju, who is an ex-cop and takes up the investigation of a missing case. However, Raju gets caught up in a love triangle as his ex-lover Meenakshi helps him with the case and his wife Bhagyalakshmi accompanies them. Amid its grand box office success, fans are also eager to watch ‘Sankranthiki Vasthunam’ on OTT.

According to a report by Oneindia, ‘Sankranthiki Vasthunam’ will release on Zee5 after its theatrical run. ZEE has reportedly bought both its streaming and satellite rights for Rs 27 crore.
Apart from Venkatesh, the movie also stars Meenakshi Chaudhary and Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead roles.

Sankranthiki Vasthunam Box Office Collection
According to the website Sacnilk, Sankranthiki Vasthunam has already crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in India and has collected Rs 137.3 crore in total. The movie has reportedly earned Rs 200 crore in total worldwide. It has given tough competition to other big releases like ‘Game Changer’.
In an interview with OTTplay, director Anil Ravipudi talked about the film’s plot. He said, “This is a very unique action-comedy, and we’ve narrated it in a hilarious manner. The performances of Venkatesh, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Aishwarya Rajesh will be the biggest highlights.”

Talking about the expectations of the audience, he added, “Though I am confident about my film, there’s still some nervousness. Even after giving eight blockbusters, I will be judged this Friday. As a director, I need to prove myself with every film.”
Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the movie is produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations with its music composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, cinematography by Sameer Reddy, and editing by Tammiraju.
