Karan Veer Mehra was declared the winner of Bigg Boss 18 on 19th January 2024, with Vivian Dsena as the first runner-up and Rajat Dalal finishing at third. Following the win, several fans expressed disappointment, claiming Vivian deserved the trophy.
Adding to the buzz, Vivian hosted a grand success party after the show but did not invite Karan Veer Mehra, fueling the rumours of a rift between the two.

In a interview with Pinkvilla, Karan Veer admitted that many people were not happy with his victory.
“Khush kam the log (People were less happy). That time, I didn’t realise. Now that I am seeing videos and people are talking badly about me, I feel worse for my mother. She fell sick watching the show because of the negativity.”
He further added, “I don’t understand why they were doing this. I had nothing to do with them. I wasn’t even talking about anyone. I was just busy with my gym.”

While Sandiip’s statement has sparked debates, neither Vivian Dsena nor his fans have directly responded to the producer’s remarks.
