Popular YouTuber and comedian Samay Raina has announced the rescheduling of his much-awaited India tour. Taking to Instagram Stories, he informed fans about the change and assured that refunds will be given to those who had already booked tickets. He wrote, “Hello guys, I am rescheduling my India tour. You all will get the refunds shortly, see you soon.”

What Is the India’s Got Latent Controversy?
Samay’s decision comes amid the controversy surrounding his YouTube show India’s Got Latent. An FIR was filed earlier this month against several creators who were seen in the show like, Apoorva Mukhija, Ashish Chanchlani, Ranveer Allahbadia and also Samay Raina himself. The plea was filed for allegedly promoting obscenity and vulgar content through their show.
Ashish Chanchlani and Ranveer Allahbadia have already visited the Maharashtra Cyber Cell to record their statements. However, Samay Raina’s statement is reportedly not yet recorded.

How It All Started
The controversy started when a video clip from Samay’s show India’s Got Latent went viral. In the video, Ranveer Allahbadia was seen asking a contestant a highly offensive question: “Would you rather watch your parents have sex or join in once and stop it forever?”
After this video went viral, the later received massive backlash online with many criticising the creators for crossing boundaries of decency.
Now fans are waiting for Samay to drop the date on when he is coming to India back.
