There is a strong buzz on the internet that Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be promoting her debut film Yeh Maaya Chesave on its re-release on July 18.
However, the speculative sections on the internet can take it easy. There is absolutely no truth to this reunion talk.
Says Samantha, “No, I am not promoting Yeh Maya Chesave with anyone. In fact, I am not promoting the film at all. I don’t know where this talk is coming from. Maybe fans of the film want to see the lead pair together. But one can’t live one’s life through the audiences’ lensing of life.”
However, Samantha has beautiful memories of the shooting of Ye Maaya Chesave. “The first film I shot for was Moscowin Kavery and it was with my best friend to date, Rahul Ravindran. Actually, that film is absolutely a blur to me. I don’t remember much from that film because it was like we would shoot one day and there would be breaks and then we would shoot another day and then there would be long breaks in between filming. So it ended up being a blur. But the second film I shot, Ye Maaya Chesave, I really remember every single shot. And the first shot that I shot for that film was at the gate with my character Jessie meeting Karthik (Naga Chaitanya) for the first time. And yeah, I remember everything about that shot, like every single thing. Because it was really fantastic also to work with (director) Gautham Menon, who knew exactly what he wanted. He knew exactly how the character should come across.”
