‘Salman Talks To Me About Being Sleepless…’ Zeeshan Siddique On How Baba Siddique’s Death Affected The Actor

Baba Siddique was shot dead on October 12 outside his son's office and a Lawrence Bishnoi gang member claimed responsibility for the crime.

Salman Khan Baba Siddique: NCP Leader Late Baba Siddique’s death has severely affected his close friend and actor Salman Khan, revealed the former’s son, Zeeshan Siddique, in a recent interview. Zeeshan also shared how Salman has been a constant support for him and his family during these tough time.

For the unversed, Baba Siddique was shot dead on October 12 outside his son’s office and a Lawrence Bishnoi gang member claimed responsibility for the crime. As soon as the news reached Salman, he rushed to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital, where Siddique was taken after the mishap. Salman looked visibly shocked with pain evident in his eyes, in photos taken outside the hospital.

Ever since, he has struggled with the loss of his friend. Zeeshan said, “Salman bhai was very upset after Baba Siddique’s murder. Salman bhai was very upset after Baba Siddique’s murder. Dad and Salman bhai were close like real brothers. After dad’s death, bhai supported a lot. He always checks in on me, every night, he talks to me about being sleepless and all, his support is always there,” Zeeshan told BBC Hindi.

Zeeshan also talked about other celebrities who stood by him and his family during the time of grief. Among them, Shilpa Shetty and husband Raj Kundra were among the first ones to arrive at the hospital. Later, Sanjay Dutt, Zaheer Iqbal, Priya Dutt and Veer Pahariya also paid their visit to condole the family. However, Zeeshan said that he considers all the renowned names of the industry as his dad’s friends. “I don’t consider my dad’s friends as celebrities because people who come home, who are friends of your father and are friends with the family, they are like members of the family,” he told the media organisation.

After his brutal murder, a Facebook post went viral from a person claiming to be a part of Bishnoi gang. The Facebook post claimed that Siddique’s murder was due to his connections with Salman as well as underworld gangsters like Anuj Thapan and Dawood Ibrahim.

A facebook account by the name of Shubuu Lonkar Maharashtra  posted: “Om, Jai Shri Ram, Jai Bharat I understand the value of life, consider wealth and the body as dust. I did only what was right, honoured the duty of friendship. Salman Khan, we did not want this war but you made our brother lose his life. Today those praising Baba Siddique or was with Dawood under the MCOCA Act. The reason for his death was his linking of Dawood and Anuj Thapan to Bollywood, politics, and property dealings.”

It continued, “We have no enmity with anyone. However, anyone who helps Salman Khan or the Dawood gang should be prepared. If anyone gets any of our brothers killed, we will definitely respond. We never strike first. Jai Shri Ram, Jai Bharat, salute to the martyrs.”

The police are verifying the message’s authenticity. Meanwhile, Salman’s security has been increased.
