Salman Khan is all set to comeback on the big screen with his most-awaited movie ‘Sikandar’. The movie is one of the biggest releases of 2025 and will arrive in theatres on March 30, 2025. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, director AR Murugadoss revealed the release time of ‘Sikandar’ and gave some more updates about the film as well.
Sikandar Run-Time:
Sikandar will have a total run time of 2 hours 20 minutes. The first hald will aroubd 1 hour 15 minutes and second half is aroubd 1 hour and 5 minutes.
While speaking to Pinkvilla, the filmmaker revealed, “The first half of Sikandar is around 1 hour and 15 minutes and the second half is about 1 hour and 5 minutes. The overall run time is about 2 hours and 20 minutes.”
Revealing more details about the film, he added, ““But that aside, we also want to convey that Sikandar is lot more than just a mass film – it’s an entertainer with repeat value. It’s a film with lots of emotion and we are targeting all section of audiences – from Salman sir fans, to masses, classes, and the family audience.”
Meanwhile, according to reports, producer Sajid Nadiadwala will soon submit the film to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
For the unversed, AR Murugadoss is the director of Ghajini, which became a blockbuster.

In an interview with The Times Of India, he revealed that Sikandar will have surprise elements like Ghajini. He shared, “This is not only a mass film; it has strong family emotions. Ghajini was about a tragic love story, but this is about a husband-wife relationship. It explores how families are today, how couples behave and treat each other and what elements we might be missing in our relationships. That will be the highlight of the film. Though Ghajini seemed to be a psycho thriller to the audience, the love story of Aamir and Asin was the surprise element. Similarly, here there’s an element of love which will move the audience.”
Sikandar also stars Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role.
