Salman Khan’s much-awaited film Sikandar has already hit theatres on 30th March 2025 marking his return to the big screen after two year hiatus. The film is released a day before Eid, it was expected to be a massive hit among his fans.

However, as per the reviews Sikandar has failed to impress audiences. Here are five key reasons why the film is struggling to win hearts.

1. Same Old Storyline

While Salman’s action sequences never fail to impress, a good film needs more than just action. Sikandar lacks originality and feels like a mix of his previous films. Many scenes looks repetitive, giving audiences a sense of déjà vu.

2. Over Used Dialogues

No doubt that, Salman Khan dialogues are famous all over the Middle-east, In ‘Sikandar’ his dialogue seems powerful but too much over to use as per the story line.

4. Predictable Second Half

The film starts with the dramatic death of Rashmika’s character. However, the second half loses momentum and the story becomes predictable. The film lacks suspense and multiple subplots make it hard to stay engaged.

5. Rashmika Mandanna’s Weak Performance

Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna play husband and wife in the film, even after having a significant 31-year age gap. Salman plays Sanjay Rajkot, while Rashmika portrays his wife, Saishree Rajkot. People feel that because of their age-gap, their on-screen chemistry feels pretty awkward and Rashmika appears to be nervous in scenes with Salman. On top of that, her weak Hindi accent affects her performance, making her dialogues sound unnatural.

However, Salman Khan fans might still enjoy his signature action-packed performance, Sikandar lacks the novelty and excitement expected from a big Eid release.
