Minor Cuts Ordered By The CBFC

The CBFC has asked the makers to remove the word ‘Home’ from a dialogue that mentioned ‘Home Minister’. So, it will now simply say ‘Minister’. Additionally, a hoarding which featured a political party has been blurred. Apart from all these, no other visual cuts were suggested, that meaning all the high-octane action sequences are remain untouched.

Interestingly, while the official CBFC certificate lists the film’s duration as 150.08 minutes (2 hours, 30 minutes, and 8 seconds), the cinema exhibition certificate shows a reduced runtime of 135.47 minutes. Now, as per Vickey Lalwani’s recent report ,this 15-minute cut was reportedly made by the makers themselves after the CBFC approval. The reason behind this sudden trimming is still unclear, that whether it was a creative decision by director AR Murugadoss, producer Sajid Nadiadwala, or a advice from Salman Khan’s father, Salim Khan.
