Actor Salman Khan’s former girlfriend Somy Ali stirred a controversy after she requested Lawrence Bishnoi for a Zoom call. This comes days after NCP leader Baba Siddique was shot dead outside his son’s office in Mumbai. Bishnoi has also threatened to kill Salman if he does not apologize for killing the black buck.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Somy, posted a picture of Lawrence alongside a long note. Addressing Lawrence as her brother, she wrote, “This is a direct message to Lawrence Bishnoi. Hello, Lawrence brother, I have heard and also seen that you are making zoom calls from jail as well, so I want to talk to you. Please let me know how this can happen?”
She further shared her wish to visit Bishnoi’s sacred temple and meet Lawrence in person. “Rajasthan is my favourite place in the whole world. I want to come to your temple for worship, but let’s have a zoom call first and we can have some more talks after the worship. Believe me, these talks are for your benefit,” she added.
Somi further asked for Lawrence’s contact details. “It will be a great favour if you can share your mobile number. Thank you,” she ended the note.

The Instagram post has raised several eyebrows, with people questioning her motive. Many speculate that it’s just a publicity stunt to stay in news, others feel she is taking her revenge from the Dabangg actor.
For the unversed, Somy Ali had earlier accused Salman Khan of abusing her physically and emotionally. Detailing her experience in an Instagram post, she had shared, “[H]e would constantly belittle me by calling me ugly, stupid, and dumb. Not a day went by that he wouldn’t make me feel worthless and small. He would not acknowledge me as his girlfriend in public for years, and when he finally did, he would insult me in front of his friends and berate me non-stop. The eight years [I] spent with him were the worst years of my entire existence.”
