In a candid conversation with Komal Nahta, Salman’s father, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, shed light on why his son has stayed single. “Salman ka pata nahi kya hai… Salman ki ek toh is wajah se bhi shaadi nahi hoti hai ki thoda sa contradiction bhi hai Salman ki thinking main (There is a contradiction in Salman’s thinking, which is one of the reasons why he’s not married),” Salim revealed.

Explaining further, Salim said Salman often gets romantically involved with the actresses he works with. “Salman ka lagao ya mohabbat… he’s attracted to the person jiske saath kaam karte hain. They are very exciting, good-looking people. Interaction hota hai kaam karte karte. People come close because voh close atmosphere main rehte hain. Toh 90 per cent of the time jo uss film ki heroine hi hoti hai voh (Salman is mostly attracted to the heroines he works with as they work in a close atmosphere and are good-looking people),” he shared.
Salman Khan Tries To ‘CONVERT’
Salim Khan also touched upon Salman’s expectations in relationships, which he believes are unrealistic. After committing to a woman, Salman reportedly looks for qualities similar to his mother’s. “Jab commitment ho jaata hai toh voh usko convert karne ki koshish karta hai, usme apni maa dhoondta hai. Voh toh possible nahi hai (After commitment, he tries to convert them and looks for his mother in them. That is not possible),” Salim revealed.

He further criticized Salman’s desire for his partners to abandon their ambitions and embrace traditional household roles. “Why should one deprive her ki main shaadi karke ghar baitha doonga? Uska vahi hota hai,” Salim added, pointing out the flaw in expecting a career-oriented woman to change completely for marriage.
