Malayalam director Mahesh Narayan is currently putting the finishing touches to the biggest Malayalam film of the millennium. In Patriot, Mahesh Narayan brings together the two living legends Mohanlal and Mammootty in a battle of talent never seen before.
Narayan is already onto his next project: this time, he is heading to Bollywood for an action film with Salman Khan.
A source close to the development says, “After Salman completes his current war saga Battle Of Galwan with director Apoorva Lakhia, Salman goes into the project with Mahesh Narayan. At this point in his career, Salman is looking for projects that propel his performing abilities into zones he has never visited before. One of the directors he reached out to was Mahesh Narayan. They vibed well from Day One.”
