Bigg Boss 18 Weekend Ka Vaar will see several guests gracing the stage of the reality show and interacting with Salman Khan. This includes Dolly Chaiwala, Vikrant Massey, Raashii Khanna, among others. However, one of the most awaited guests is entrepreneur Ashneer Grover, who became a household name with the reality show Shark Tank. Though the reason for his appearance on the show is not clear yet, a promo released by the makers promises a fun but fiery interaction between him and Salman.
The video clip, which is now going viral on social media, shows Salman asking Ashneer about his controversial statements regarding him. Referencing a podcast in which Ashneer talked about signing the actor for a brand endorsement and the challenges that followed, Salman said, “Mere baare mein kehte hue suna hai that you have signed me. Sab figures bhi aapne galat bataye. Toh phir yeh dogalapan kya hai? (I heard you talked about signing me and mentioned all the wrong figures. So, what is this double standard?)”
To this, Ashneer very humbly replied, “Aapko jo brand ambassador lia, I think that was one of the smartest moves.” However, Salman, who looked seemingly upset, continued to slam him for his attitude and rudeness. “Yeh jo attitude ab hai, tab wahan nahi dikha tha (This attitude you are showing now wasn’t apparent back then),” he said. In his defense, Ashneer said that his words and meaning did not come out right and were misinterpreted.

For the unversed, Ashneer’s video talking about Salman during a podcast went viral last year. While talking about marketing, the entrepreneur shared his experience working with him and revealed details about his negotiation with the actor’s manager.
In the video, Ashneer is heard saying, “Salman Khan se mila hoon. Usko humne sponsor rakha tha, toh uske shoot ke liye mila tha. Shoot se pehle mila tha usko brief karne ke liye ki company kya hai. Toh teen ghante baitha tha uske saath, uske manager ne bol diya ki photo nahi khichwani hai, sir thoda bura maan jaate hain. Maine kaha saale, maine bola, nahi khichwaunga photo, bhaad main ja tu. Matlab aisi kaunsi heropanti ho gayi.”
In another video, he is seen discussing Salman’s fees. “Mujhe laga main Salman ko brand ambassador leta hu. Salman ki team ko contact kara toh unhone kaha ‘Rs 75 crore lagene.’ Main calculation kar raha hu ki 100 crore pade hain. 7.7 crore isko dunga, 1-2 crore ki ad bnegi and phir us ad ko chalaana bhi toh hai TV pe. Maine Salman Khan ko bola kam karde bhai, toh wo maan gaya 4.5 crore par,” he said.
