Salman Khan appeared on a podcast for the first time and spilled beans about his life and career. The actor interacted with his nephew Arhaan Khan and his two friends Arush Verma and Dev Raiyani, who are the host of the podcast ‘Dumb Biryani’. He talked about his time in jail and also gave advice to Arhaan about his career and how to handle relationships after the divorce of his parents Arbaaz and Malaika Arora.
While briefly talking about Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan’s divorce, Salman said, “This dude out here has gone through his ups and downs. After your mom and dad’s relationship (separation), you have to make it on your own. One day you will have your own family and unit. So this is what you have to work on to have your own family. The culture of having lunch and dinner with family should always be there and there should always be a head of the family, who should be respected.”
Giving advice to Arhaan about career, Salman added, “So, for example, for you right now, who are the people you’re going to get into the film industry with? There’s Tiger Shroff, there’s Shahid Kapoor, there’s Varun Dhawan, there’s Siddharth Malhotra. You see yourself better than them, right now. So, that is your goal. Now, he does this work, he does that work, he looks like this, he fights like this – these are my targets.”
Salman Khan About His Time In Jail:
While talking about his time in jail, Salman revealed, “I generally sleep for a couple of hours, and once a month, I get 7–8 hours a day. Sometimes, I sleep when I get a few minutes break between shoots. I can only sleep when I don’t have anything else to do. So, I slept nicely when I was in jail. I sleep when there is turbulence in an aircraft because there is nothing I can do in such a situation.”
