Salman Khan is currently preparing for the release of his next movie ‘Sikandar’. He has also made his fans and well-wishers worried due to the death threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The superstar has been filming ‘Sikandar’ in Hyderabad amid tight security. For the unversed, he received a threat again after Mumbai’s traffic control room received a menacing message Thursday midnight. A case has been registered against an unknown person by Worli police in Mumbai.
According to PTI, the police source said, “The shooting of Salman Khan-starrer ‘Sikandar’ was going on at a star hotel in the old city of Hyderabad amid tight security against the backdrop of threats received by the top actor from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The security has been tight as Khan is a ‘Y plus’ category security protected.”
Earlier, Mumbai police arrested a 32-year-old man named Bhikha Ram for allegedly sending a threatening message to Salman. When inquired, Bhikharam did not give a clear reason, however, police in their statement stated, “It appears that he sent the message for fun and there is no serious threat involved.”
Another police source told PTI, “The accused was watching a regional news channel when he suddenly called the Mumbai Police control room and issued a death threat to Salman Khan. He is a daily wage worker and claims to be a fan of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. This is his version, but his detailed interrogation and further investigation will be conducted by the Mumbai Police.”
On November 5, Shah Rukh Khan also received a threat over a call made to Bandra Police Station. The accused, who was later identified as Faizan Khan from Raipur, threatened to kill Shah Rukh and also demanded a ransom of Rs 50 lakh.
