On Monday, the Bollywood actor was issued a fresh death threat via Whatsapp. The threat was sent to the official number of the Worli Transport Department and contained warnings of a plan to bomb the actor’s home and car. According to the message, the suspect had threatened to enter Salman’s house and plant an explosive device in his vehicles. The Mumbai Police have confirmed that a case has been registered at the Worli Police Station under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. After an intense investigation the suspect was finally arrested but now a new update has emerged that the alleged suspect has been released on grounds of mental health.
26-Year-Old Threat Suspect From Gujarat
The Investigators tracked the source of the threat to a 26-year-old man from a village near Vadodara, Gujarat. The suspect, who is reportedly suffering from mental instability and currently undergoing treatment, has been instructed to appear before the Worli Police within the next 2-3 days.
Security Tightened Again
Following this new threat alert, Salman Khan’s personal security at home has been stepped up. Crime branches and intelligence outfits have been joined to lend strength to the probe on progress. Whether this appears to be part of an escalating pattern or merely the action of a special unit against the star is also under investigation.
