Salman Khan, who is gearing up for his return to theatres with Sikandar, recently confirmed his new movie with Bollywood actor and his dear friend Sanjay Dutt. During the promotions of Sikandar, the superstar was asked about his upcoming projects after AR Murugadoss’s directorial. He revealed that he will do another action film with Sanjay Dutt but did not reveal many details about this project.
During the media interaction, Salman Khan revealed, “I’m doing another big action film after Sikandar. There the action is on another level. That’s rustic action.” When quizzed about revealing more details on the film, the actor said, I’m doing it with my elder brother in the industry…Sanjay Dutt.”
Meanwhile, Sikandar will clash with Mohanlal-starrer ‘L2: Empuraan’ at the box office. However, Salman praised Mohanal and director Prithiviraj Sukumaran and said that he believes ‘L2: Empuraan’ will be excellent. While speaking to News18, Salman Khan said, “I love Mohanlal sir as an actor. Prithviraj is directing it, and I know that it’s going to be an excellent film.” Further rooting for Sunny Deol’s film ‘Jaat’, he said, “There’s Jaat also coming post Sikandar. I wish all of them do well.”
L2: Empuraan stars Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Abhimanyu Singh, Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Jerome Flynn, Indrajith Sukumaran, Eriq Ebouaney, and Suraj Venjaramoodu. It is the sequel to the hit 2019 Malayalam movie ‘Lucifer’.

Sikandar also marks Salman Khan’s return to the big screen after Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan in 2023. The movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Babbar in the lead roles. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the movie is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Sikandar will release in theatres on March 30, 2025.
