New Delhi: Prabhas’s upcoming movie Salaar is one of the most anticipated movies. It has kept the audience hooked to its release since its inception. Now an update has been made by the makers.
Taking to Twitter, the makers of Salaar has posted an update. The post reads that a big announcement will be done on August 15 at 12.58 pm. So this Independence Day will bring some good news for Prabhas’s fans it seems.

Baahubali’s Prabhas is gearing up for his upcoming action-thiller Salaar. The movie is directed by KGF fame Prashanth Neel. Also starring Shruti Haasan as the female lead, fans have high hopes from Salaar as Hombale Films entrusted Neel after the tremendous success of the KGF series.
As soon as the post dropped in, speculations began among fans. Some have exuded confidence that the makers will drop the official teaser of Salaar within the next 2 days. Netizens also have opined that the makers may announce the release dates of the official teaser and/or trailer.
Some are also speculating if the makers will make the announcement about Rocking Star Yash’s cameo appearance in the flick.
Well, it is to be mentioned that, Salaar’s shooting got postponed due to the ongoing producer’s guild strike, which put all movie shootings on pause mode from the first of this month. However, reports say that the shooting will be resumed from August 21.
Prabhas is said to have allotted bulk dates for the movie, and Prashanth Neel is said to be of the opinion to wrap up the shoot by the end of this year.
Prashanth Neel reportedly intends to release the first part of Salaar by summer 2023. The second part by December 2023.
