New Delhi: A very heart-touching storyline about a mother of a dying son was featured in Kajol’s Salaam Venky. The movie, which was based on actual events, discussed euthanasia. Sadly, the movie was unable to get audiences to the theatres. The film has had a hard time selling tickets ever since its premiere on December 9. Revathy is the film’s director, while Vishal Jethwa plays the lead role.
Box Office Collection
In Salaam Venky, Kajol plays the mother of a son with Duchenne muscular dystrophy who is 24 years old. Since its premiere, the movie has barely made any money, therefore it hasn’t found any audiences. The current total collection just exceeds Rs 2.32 crore. Salaam Vdenky is apparently up against stiff competition from other big films like Drishyam 2, Bhediya, and An Action Hero. The movie is performing better at the box office than the other two releases, Vadh and Marrich.
About Salaam Venky
Shraddha Agrawal and Suraj Singh are Salaam Venky’s financiers. Mithoon wrote the music. Rahul Bose, Rajeev Khandelwal, and Prakash Raj are also featured in the movie. In the movie, Aamir Khan makes a notable cameo.
Salaam Venky is a brilliantly produced dark film even though it doesn’t always hit the proper notes. The movie, which is based on Shrikant Murthy’s novel The Last Hurrah, tackles the serious issue of euthanasia, which is simply defined as the deliberate taking of a person’s life to relieve them of their suffering.
