‘Saiyaara’ is undoubtedly one of the biggest hits of 2025, with the audience praising the performances, heartfelt story and songs. The movie’s lead cast, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, have penned a touching note for their fans and the viewers, who made ‘Saiyaara’ a blockbuster.
Expressing their gratitude for the film’s success, Ahaan and Aneet wrote, “Today marks 50 days of a film that brought us to the world and the world to us, the love that we have gotten feels like a testament to the fact that if you believe in magic, if you feel it, the world may just feel it with you. Today marks a quiet moment for us, we close our eyes and all we see is you. The way you felt something with us, the way you made what was one of a kind for us, yours too. Thank you for being as vulnerable as us, for letting us in, for reminding us that honesty and love are more powerful than anything else in this world, & that knowing, will always be the most beautiful thing we carry forward- Aneet & Ahaan.”
While speaking to Dainik Bhaskar, director Mohit Suri revealed why he decided to cast Ahaan and Aneet in ‘Saiyaara’ instead of any other big star. He said, “I had immersed myself so much into the story that I spoke to a few actor friends of mine saying, ‘Can you do a love story for me? Do it for me.’ And they had said yes too. But when I met Adi sir, he questioned me why I wanted to make this film with those actors. Honestly, this is the company that has access to all the biggest stars in this country. He said we can work with everyone but this story requires actors who are 20-25, all these other actors are in their 30s, touching 40.”
Apart from Ahaan and Aneet, the movie also stars Alam Khan, Geeta Agarwal, Rajesh Kumar, Varun Badola, Shaad Randhawa, Sid Makkar, Shaan Groverr, and Neil Dutta. The plot focuses on Krish, a budding singer, and Vaani, a lyricist, and how their friendship soon turns into love.
