The two different worlds on Netflix are now colliding as the viewers will soon witness the crossover of Jewel Thief and CID Season 2. As per reports, the cast of Jewel Thief will appear in a special episode of CID and it will also served as a promotion for Saif Ali Khan-starrer. For the unversed, CID Season 2 is now available on Netflix and its new episodes release on every Weekend.
According to OTTplay, Jaideep Ahlawat and Kunal Kapoor will be seen in the special episode of CID. The team of CID will reportedly follow Jaideep’s character Rajan Aulakh’s every move and Kunal Kapoor’s character Vikram Patel will help them to catch Rajan.
About Jewel Thief:
Jewel Thief also stars Nikita Dutta in the pivotal role. The movie focuses on a con man trying to do a diamond heist while trying to outsmart Rajan, his sadistic adversary. It also seems like Jewel Thief will return for its sequel. At the end movie, it teases the sequel with ‘The Heist Continues’. Netflix is yet to officially announce the sequel.

Meanwhile, CID will also have its first ever silent episode titled ‘The Silent Den’. Talking about shooting a silent episode for the first time, Dayanand Shetty called it creatively fulfilling and challenging. He told India Today, “Shooting a silent episode was both challenging and creatively fulfilling. We had to rely purely on expressions, body language, and the unspoken bond our team shares on screen and off. No words, just instinct — just raw emotion. And that’s what makes this episode so powerful.”

CID Season 2 is now streaming on Netflix. The show recently went through a major change as the character of ACP Pradyuman, played by Shivaji Satam, was killed in the show. Parth Samthaan joined the show as ACP Ayushman.
