Saif Ali Khan Returns To Race Franchise, Confirms Producer Ramesh Taurani

Saif Ali Khan has been confirmed to star in Race 4. The film will go on floors in 2025.

Saif Ali Khan will finally return to the ‘Race’ franchise and this exciting news has been confirmed by ace producer Ramesh Taurani. The actor was originally the lead of ‘Race 1 and 2’ but was replaced by Salman Khan for ‘Race 3’. Even though ‘Race 3’ became a blockbuster, fans deeply missed seeing Saif Ali Khan’s charm in the movie. More details about ‘Race 4’ have not been revealed yet but Ramesh Taurani has confirmed Saif’s presence in it.

While speaking to PTI, Ramesh Taurani gave more details about ‘Race 4’. He said, “Saif will be back in the ‘Race’ franchise, and we are excited to have him on board. He did a great job in the first two films. The film will boast an ensemble cast, and we are finalizing the script and cast.”

He further added, “We haven’t finalised the director either. We will announce the film officially before we go on floors, most likely next year.” 

The first instalment of ‘Race’ starred Saif Ali Khan, Anil Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Akshaye Khanna, Katrina Kaif, and Sameera Reddy. Except for Saif and Anil Kapoor, the rest of the star cast in ‘Race 2’ was replaced by  John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez and Ameesha Patel.

On the work front, Saif Ali Khan was recently seen in ‘Devara’ with Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor. He will also be seen in the film’s second part. The actor expressed his gratitude towards Jr NTR and the team of ‘Devara’ for welcoming him into the Telugu cinema with open arms and also praised the crew for being kind to him. He said, “Lovely people, I must say. Your unit and the crew – it was such a pleasure to work with everyone. So polite and kind – it was the nicest experience ever. Thank you for being so welcoming and amazing.”

Saif Ali Khan played the role of Bhaira in ‘Devara’ and marked his Telugu debut as well.
