Details Of The Incident
The burglary attempt occurred late Wednesday night at Saif’s Bandra residence when an unidentified intruder broke into the house. Saif, who was asleep at the time, was reportedly stabbed six times during a scuffle with the assailant. One of the injuries was dangerously close to his spine.

Doctors Confirm Saif Is Stable
According to Dr. Niraj Uttamani, Chief Operating Officer of Lilavati Hospital, Saif underwent surgery early Thursday morning. “He sustained six injuries, two of which were deep, but he is now stable and out of danger,” Dr. Uttamani confirmed. Saif remains under observation as doctors monitor his recovery.
Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Statement
Earlier, Saif’s wife Kareena Kapoor Khan issued a statement, confirming the family’s safety and urging fans not to speculate while investigations continue. “The rest of the family is doing fine. We thank everyone for their prayers and thoughts during this time,” she said.
