Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan sustained multiple injuries during an attempted burglary at his and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s Mumbai residence early Thursday morning. The incident occurred around 4 AM when an intruder broke into their Bandra home, leading to a scuffle that left the actor injured.

Details Of The Attack

According to reports, Saif woke up during the commotion after a servant attempted to confront the thief. In the ensuing scuffle, the actor sustained six stab wounds, two of which are deep. One of the injuries is reportedly near his spine.

Saif was rushed to Lilavati Hospital at around 3:30 AM by his son Ibrahim Ali Khan and a staff member. The actor is currently undergoing surgery, led by a team of specialists, including Neurosurgeon Dr. Nitin Dange, Cosmetic Surgeon Dr. Leena Jain, and Anaesthesiologist Dr. Nisha Gandhi.

Family’s Statement And Assurance

Kareena Kapoor’s team issued a statement confirming the incident and addressing Saif’s condition. The statement read, “There was an attempted burglary at Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s residence. Saif is in the hospital undergoing a procedure. The rest of the family is fine.”

The team also urged fans and media to avoid speculation, adding that the matter is under police investigation.

Mumbai Police and the Crime Branch are actively investigating the case. They are reviewing CCTV footage from the residence and nearby areas to identify and locate the intruder.
