Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan and popular filmmaker Hansal Mehta have recently confirmed that they are working together on a project. During the appearance in the Cinevesture International Film Festival held in Chandigarh, Hansal Mehta spoke about the upcoming film.
He revealed that the film will be an adaptation of a book and the script has already been sent to actress Kareena Kapoor.
Kareena Kapoor Also In Talks?
Hansal Mehta praised the Kareena, and called her a very professional actor . He said, “Every time I look at a script, I ask, ‘Can we do something with Kareena?’ She is one of the most prepared persons on set, always happy and no doubt a big star. It was a privilege to work with her.”
Hansal even compared working with Kareena is equals to working with talented actors like Pratik Gandhi and Rajkummar Rao.
Past Collaborations And Upcoming Projects
For those who don’t know, Hansal Mehta and Kareena Kapoor previously worked together on The Buckingham Murders, it was a crime thriller released on 13th September 2024.
Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan will soon appear in Netflix’s upcoming film Jewel Thief, releasing on 27th March. Directed by Kookie Gulati and Robbie Grewal, the film also stars Kunal Kapoor, Nikita Dutta, and Gagan Arora.
