Rozlyn Khan, a stage-four cancer survivor, recently slammed Hina Khan over her claims about undergoing a 15-hour-long surgery for her cancer treatment. While Hina is currently battling stage-three breast cancer, Rozlyn, who has fought cancer herself, voiced strong concerns about the accuracy of Hina’s statements.
Rozlyn Khan Questions Hina Khan’s Surgery Claims
In an interview with News18 Showsha, Rozlyn accused Hina of exaggerating the details of her treatment. “A 15-hour mastectomy is impossible,” she said. “My surgery lasted 8 to 10 hours because I was at stage four, and 16 lymph nodes were removed. It was a major surgery. Hina hasn’t given any details about the surgery, like whether it was MRM or something else.”
Rozlyn also questioned the authenticity of Hina’s claims, suggesting that she may not be undergoing the treatment she’s describing.
Rozlyn, who underwent her treatment at the same hospital and under the same doctor as Hina Khan, pointed out another major concern. She criticized Hina for traveling extensively while receiving chemotherapy, a practice that doctors generally advise against. “Chemotherapy patients are told to stay away from crowds and avoid travel. It can cause complications, and the healing process is slow,” she explained.

Accusations Of Misinformation & Publicity Stunt
Rozlyn Khan then made a bold allegation, accusing Hina Khan of using her cancer treatment as a means to gain publicity. “She talks about herself rather than discussing the treatment she is undergoing. I doubt if she is even at stage 3,” Rozlyn stated. “She keeps everything in the dark and spins every interview around her bravery.”
Rozlyn concluded by pointing out the lack of regulations on spreading misinformation about medical procedures in India. “There’s no law to stop the misuse of such claims, and people are taking advantage of it,” she said.
Rozlyn’s statements have sparked a fierce debate about the responsibility of public figures in sharing medical information and the importance of accuracy when discussing such sensitive topics.
