New Delhi: If the teaser for ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ piqued your interest, the trailer is the cherry on top. The film, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, revives the ‘Dharma’ theme of blending familial sentiments with romance. It has the sense of a modernised version of K3G.
The trailer introduces us to Ranveer as Rocky, a flamboyant character with little substance. Alia, on the other hand, is a woman of substance who comes from an educated Bengali family. The two are polar opposites, but fate (in this case: Dharma) has it that they fall in love. After all, a Karan Johar picture without a family drama isn’t a KJO film. So we meet their families, and the pair tries a’switch’ strategy to get things started.
