Anunay Sood, a well known travel influencer and photographer, passed away at the age of 32 on 6 November 2025 in Las Vegas. The cause of his death has not been disclosed. Known for his energy, love for adventure, and inspiring travel content, Anunay’s sudden demise has left friends, fans, and the influencer community in shock.
RJ Mahvash shared a chat screenshot with Anunay, saying she is still struggling to process his sudden death. Mahvash wrote, “Anunay, my heart is sinking! How we were just planning F1 trip a few days back, and how with a heavy heart, I heard this voice note again. A person so full of life. always laughing, giggling.. still unable to process it.”
She added, “Abhi to msgs kha tha yr Vegas se tu. Rest in peace, buddy. kisiki life ka kuch nai pata hai.. please bas sabke sath bohot acche se raho, kisika dil mat dukhao. Tm jao to log the anunay ke tarah yaad karein sirf accha (You had just messaged from Vegas, buddy. Rest in peace. No one knows what can happen in anyone’s life. Please, just be kind to everyone, don’t hurt anyone’s heart. When you leave, may people will remember you like they remember Anunay, only for the good).”
Bigg Boss 19 star Awez Darbar mourned the death of travel influencer Anunay Sood on Thursday, November 6. He shared a short montage of Anunay’s travels, saying he is “heartbroken beyond words.”
Taking to X, the former Bigg Boss 19 contestant wrote, “Heartbroken beyond words. You inspired a generation to explore fearlessly. Rest in Power, Anunay your journey will never end.”

Fellow travel influencer Jatin Parmar also shared his grief, posting a picture with Anunay and writing, “Miss you, bhai, Thanks for all the good times, advices, and inspiration. You will be in our hearts forever.”
Rida Tharanaa, another travel influencer and friend of Anunay with whom she had taken trips, shared their last chat screenshot and wrote, “I cannot believe I was talking and even called to talk you yesterday…..like i can’t wrap my head around this…! I really can’t …”
In another post, she added, ‘I’m still gathering my thoughts, but I cannot and do not want to believe this. From taking trips with him to him showing me around Delhi! As shitty this year was him and i connected and formed a connection I’ll always cherish. Anunay bhai, rest in peace! You will always be loved and remembered. You didn’t deserve any of this. Your smile, your laugh, and your zeal… I wish none of this was real. RIP.’”
Who was Anunay Sood?
Though based in Dubai, UAE, Sood hailed from Uttarakhand, India, where he completed his early education. According to his LinkedIn, he co-founded Meta Social, a Dubai based digital marketing firm, and previously worked with companies like Boltt Sports Technologies Pvt. Ltd and Al Nafis Properties.
Over the years, Sood became well-known for his travel photos and videos. His work appeared in National Geographic India, Conde Nast Traveller, and Lonely Planet India. He had nearly 400,000 YouTube followers. In 2022, 2023, and 2024, he was consecutively featured in the Forbes India Top 100 Digital Stars list for his travel and lifestyle content.
Sood loved travel, cars, and adventure. He visited almost 40 countries and worked with big names like Switzerland Tourism, Visit Saudi, and Airtel. With 1.4 million followers on Instagram, he was admired for his love of life and passion for exploring the world, which inspired many people to travel.
