Rishab Shetty’s ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ has become a blockbuster, and has been receiving praise for its performances and plot. Apart from starring in the film, Rishab has also directed the film. After creating waves in several languages, Kantara: Chapter 1 is all set to release in English as well.
Rishab Shetty wrote on X, “A divine saga that resonates beyond borders and languages! #KantaraChapter1 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 releasing in cinemas worldwide from 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟑𝟏𝐬𝐭. Experience the epic journey of faith, culture, and devotion in all its glory.”

Apart from Rishab, the movie also stars Rukmini Vasanth as Kanakavathi, and Gulshan Devaiah as Kulashekara.
Talking about how he is handling the success of Kantara: Chapter 1, Gulshan Devaiah told Varinder Chawla’s YouTube channel that the conventional idea of success messes with people’s heads.
“It’s only a matter of time before something like this happens and there’s a big explosion. You have to be ready, because if you’re not ready, you can lose your head. And I’ve seen the conventional idea of success mess with people’s heads. I was mature enough to handle it in a healthy manner, and productive manner, which means that I’m going to make more money now,” he shared.
Further talking about hiking his fees, he added, “Already hiked. They were hiked the day the trailer dropped. I have to take advantage of this, don’t I? It’s one of the most anticipated films of the year, one of the biggest films of India… I’ve been working for 15 years; this much business I know.”
The film’s visual is backed by the powerful cinematic vision of Arvind S. Kashyap as cinematographer and the evocative music of B. Ajaneesh Loknath, whose compositions in the first film left audiences spellbound. It is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films.
