Reality show Rise and Fall has been making headlines, and Dhanashree Verma is at the center of the latest controversy. The latest episode saw Arjun Bijlani nominate Manisha Rani for the fall, claiming she isn’t a deserving ruler.
Manisha instantly hit back, saying, “I knew that whenever it comes to you to take a name, you will always take my name for the fall.”
Taking her criticism further, Manisha accused Arjun of being a “revengeful” ruler who holds grudges. “He has absolutely no quality of a ruler because he is so revengeful that whenever somebody does something wrong with him, he keeps a grudge and takes it out in the game as revenge,” she claimed.
She also took a swipe at Dhanashree Verma, alleging that she merely echoes others’ opinions in the Red Room. “Whatever Dhanashree says in the Red Room is just copy-paste and under the influence of others. Whatever she says is absolutely baseless and senseless,” said Manisha.
Yuzvendra Chahal Breaks Silence
Yuzvendra Chahal has finally broken his silence on the cheating allegations and described it as “baseless and exhausting.” He told Hindustan Times that, “I am a sportsperson and I do not cheat. Agar koi two months mein hi cheat karta toh itna lamba relationship chalta kya? For me, this chapter is over, done and dusted. I have moved forward with my life and everyone else should do.”
“Hamari shaadi 4.5 years thi. Agar two months mein cheat hua hota toh kaun continue karta? Mai pehle bhi bol chuka hun ki mai past se nikal chuka hun. But some people are still stuck there… unka ghar mere naam se chal raha hai toh they can continue doing that. I am not concerned or affected,” he stated.
Dhanashree’s Side of the Story
Earlier on the show, Dhanashree had opened up about her relationship with Chahal, revealing that it was “both love and arranged.” Speaking to Arjun Bijlani, she said, “It was love and arranged both. It started off as an arranged marriage. Basically, he wanted to get married without dating, and I wasn’t even planning for anything like that.”
However, she admitted that she started noticing changes after marriage. “There’s a difference between how people act when they want something and when they already have it. I still tried to make things work and gave my hundred per cent,” she said, adding that she will “always be concerned for him” despite everything.
