RIP Satish Kaushik: The sudden death of actor-director Satish Kaushik has shocked the film industry. Satish Kaushik died on Wednesday in Gurugram of a heart attack, according to the Indian Express. He was 66. Satish Kaushik was visiting someone in Gurugram when his health deteriorated and he suffered a heart attack in the car, according to the report.
His body is being held at Fortis Hospital in Gurugram and will be transported to Mumbai following the postmortem. Satish Kaushik’s most recent social media post was on March 7th, in honour of Holi. He shared a few photos from Javed Akhtar’s Holi bash, where he posed alongside the veteran lyricist, Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal, and Mahima Chaudhry.

Satish Kaushik’s last rites details
After suffering a heart attack, Satish Kaushik was taken to Fortis Hospital in Gurugram, where the medical staff worked to rescue him. But he passed away late on March 9 in the early hours. After that, his body was transported to Delhi’s Deendayal Upadhyay Hospital for the postmortem. It is likely that Satish Kaushik’s body will be carried back to Mumbai at around 3 pm today. His final rites will thereafter be performed.
