Mukul Dev, well-known Bollywood actor, passed away on May 23. His brother Rahul Dev, who is also a popular actor, shared the post after Mukul’s death. He shared that Mukul passed away peacefully in his sleep and his cremation will be held today. The cause of Mukul Dev’s untimely demise is not disclosed.
The post shared by Rahul Dev read, “Our brother Mukul Dev passed away peacefully at New Delhi last night. He’s survived by his daughter Sia Dev. Missed by siblings Rashmi Kaushal, Rahul Dev and nephew Sidhant Dev. Cremation at 5 PM.”

The news of Mukul Dev’s death was first confirmed by his friend and actor Vindhu Dara Singh. Talking about Mukul Dev’s sudden demise, Vindhu told India Today, “After his parent’s death, Mukul was keeping to himself. He would even step out of the house or meet anyone. His health deteriorated in the last few days and he was in the hospital. My condolences to his brother and everyone who knew and loved him. He was an amazing person, and we will all miss him.”
Manoj Bajpayee also shared his grief and penned a heartfelt note for Mukul Dev. He wrote on X, “It’s impossible to put into words what I’m feeling. Mukul was a brother in spirit, an artist whose warmth and passion were unmatched. Gone too soon, too young. Praying for strength and healing for his family and everyone grieving this loss. Miss you meri jaan…until we meet again, Om Shanti.”
Mukul Dev starred in many popular films like ‘Son Of Sardaar’, ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’, ‘R…Rajkumar’, ‘Creature 3D’, ‘Jai Ho’, ‘Omerta’ and many more. He also worked in many popular television shows like ‘Kutumb’, ‘Kumkum’ and several others. Mukul also won Indian Telly Award for the Best Actor In A Negative Role for his role in ’21 Sarfarosh – Saragarhi 1897′.
He made his debut in Bollywood with the 1996 film ‘Dastak’, which was also a debut movie of Sushmita Sen.
